User Account Registration Form
Anyone who would like to contribute content or comments to Open Media Boston is welcome to register for an OMB User Account using the form below. Most fields in the form are mandatory. Notice to advertisers and marketers
Advertisers and marketers have to pay to play on Open Media Boston - all at the discretion of the Editors. Any advertisers or marketers that start accounts on this site for the purpose of attempting to post advertising or marketing material as content or comments instead of paying for advertising space will have their accounts immediately deleted.

Account information
Your preferred username; punctuation is not allowed except for periods, hyphens, and underscores.
A valid e-mail address. All e-mails from the system will be sent to this address. The e-mail address is not made public and will only be used if you wish to receive a new password or wish to receive certain news or notifications by e-mail.
Personal Information
Enter your real name (at minimum we need your first and last names). Anonymous posts are not allowed on OMB. Posts using pseudonyms will not normally be allowed, but exceptions for "nom de plume" and "nom de guerre" may be made by OMB Editors on a case-by-case basis. Visitors to the site will always be able to see any OMB User's real name in their User Profile by clicking on their Username. Posting false information in this or any of the subsequent fields is grounds for automatic OMB User account deletion (we do, however, allow for individual whimsy in the "About Me" field).

Spammers from India, Russia, China, Nigeria, etc., should be aware that all your pathetic attempts to create accounts on our site fail; so don't even waste your time trying. Your English isn't good enough, your knowledge of the United States is weak, and no matter what sad little tricks you try we'll delete your account as soon as we see it. Since accounts that are not activated by us cannot do anything on our site, you accomplish nothing aside from giving us something to laugh about at staff parties. You will therefore neither rip any of our users off with whatever pathetic scam you're trying to push, nor will you get any of our users to go to any of your sad little trap sites from our site. So buh-bye!
