Honk! Festival Marches through Somerville

his weekend, more than twenty New Orleans style marching bands stomped through Somerville. The festival was radical and subversive, complete with gender bending second line band members, vociferous anti-war chants and direct crowd engagement. The streets thronged with people dancing, playing honking their own horns, and gawking at the spectacle.

I thoroughly enjoyed the video and the pictures. It is good to see young people having a good time without beating up old people. It was also inspiring to see they can spell drunk. Not the word "drunk," but under the influence.
