This weekend, more than twenty New Orleans style marching bands stomped through Somerville. The festival was radical and subversive, complete with gender bending second line band members, vociferous anti-war chants and direct crowd engagement. The streets thronged with people dancing, playing honking their own horns, and gawking at the spectacle.
