Several Boston area immigrant organizations and supporters originally called the event to protest anti-immigrant legislation recently passed in Arizona, but expanded the protest to include criticism of anti-immigrant immigrant amendments passed last week in the Mass. Senate as part of their version of the annual state budget bill.
