Wheelock Family Theatre is a non-profit, professional Equity theatre located in Boston's historic Fenway neighborhood on the campus of Wheelock College. Since 1981 WFT has been producing dramas, musicals, and children's shows with a mission of creating accessible theatre - through affordable ticket prices, a colorful casting policy, and audience enhancements that include ASL interpretation, audio-descriptions, and open captions.

In addition to three mainstage productions each season, WFT provides an education program offering classes throughout the year in creative dramatics for children and professional development for teens. Theatre classes are an important link between community people who would like to participate in plays and the professional production arm of WFT. Over the years literally thousands of children and adults have participated in WFT's education programs as a first step to acting or other dramatic arts activities.
